Notes | It is important to note that the piercing on the flat plate is the same as PM-89, the same as seen on marked Christofle examples, and the handles are the same as PM-85. The screw cap (small knob on hinge pin) is different to both. This PM-89 flat plate has also been attributed to William Hutton & Sons. These were made by William Hutton & Sons and Christofle, amongst others. It is listed in Mary Walker's book as "Brevetto", which is Italian meaning patent. I have seen these squeezers marked Brevetto and they were were made by Christofle. (Silver plated, not the brass base metal) See Old_Juicers_2229.htm for PM-85. |
