Description | A 1 piece clear glass juicer with an off-set tab handle. The bowl has 32 panels seperated by vertical lines of small pyramids. |
Material | Glass - clear |
Diameter | 123 mm |
Length | |
Height | 65 mm |
Weight | 241 g |
Maker | Brockwitz (see notes) |
Mary Walker No. | Not listed |
Notes | It is definitely listed in the January, 1924 Anthony Hordern & Sons catalogue. See: Link 1. This appears to be by Brockwitz (Germany) as it is listed, sketched, in their 1915 catalogue. 2. This pattern can also be embossed "MADE IN JAPAN" and "Pd DESIGN No 25239". It is still possibly a reproduction or simply sourced from Japan. See: Old_Juicers_2620.htm 3. Also a similar embossing "Rd DESIGN No 25239" occurs on a juicer with a totally different pattern. See: Old_Juicers_299.htm. This would suggest that either the general shape was patented and the additional pattern is registered, or, perhaps just a coincidence. Compare with Old_Juicers_2202.htm which has no pip collectors. |
